We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Finance Manager to join a prestigious and reputable establishment within their friendly bursary and finance team.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day finance functions including management of financial systems and processes, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, payroll and overseeing the small finance team.

This will be a varied and accountable role and an integral part of the educational establishment and requires a commercially astute and passionate individual. If this sounds like you, please read below:

Job duties:

Responsible for the whole day-to-day finance functionResponsible for year end auditsPreparing management documents and information such as management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flowsManaging accurate records of purchase and sales ledger, banking, petty cash, reconciliation, P&L accounts, balance sheets and adhoc paymentsTaking the lead for any credit control processesManaging the payroll for staffLiaising with external stakeholders Requirements:

Experience within a similar roleSome exposure to managing a small team within an accounts/finance departmentIdeally you will have knowledge of working within the education sectorProfessional qualification in Finance and AccountingStrong analytical skills and attention to detailStrong IT skills and ability to handle a busy work loadExcellent interpersonal skills What s in it for you?

The hourly rate for this role up to GBP24.00ph which is the equivalent of GBP43,680 per annum.
