Job Manager: Finance Manager

Salary: up to GBP50K

Location: Sutton Remote with partial office attendance

To ensure the effective strategic and operational financial planning, monitoring, and reporting to enhance the decision–making process of the Senior Management team. The Finance Manager will be a key decision maker in the organisation. You will use the data to advise the SLT on ways to improve the overall financial function of the business.

Duties:

Contribute to strategic planning, financial management and day – to day– running of the organisationFinancial accounting and reportingManagement reportingPlanning, budgeting / forecastingFinancial systems, procedures & internal controlsAssist with all matters relating to tax – Corporate Tax, VAT, PAYEAffiliate statements prepared and sent out each quarter.All invoices paid and settled within payment terms.Monitor and keep credit score above 80 at all times.P/L, budget reports and forecastsEnsuring money banked is well organised and all queries raised and dealt with promptlyA detailed Billing ProcessTo contribute to the overall leadership, strategic planning and managementEnsure accurate, complete & timely financial and management reporting, including monthly management accounts, balance sheet control.Statutory Accounts & (future) audit liaisonTimely submission of all external reporting e.g. Companies House, HMRCResponsible for in–house objective setting & performance reviews Attributes/ Skills:

Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Accountant, including relevant post qualification.experienceProficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and auditStaff management experience
