The Role:
Dot-The-Eye Ltd are looking to employ a motivated and hardworking individual to lead our Finance Team.
The Finance Team manage the day-to-day accounts for the Company and several of its customers. In addition, the Finance Lead supports the company's management team and customers when creating budgets and planning future development in terms of financial planning.
We are looking for someone to work every weekday, but there could be some flexibility in the specific hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
Preparing staff hours for payroll.To review and sign off both Dot-The-Eye and its Customers monthly invoices.Paying of Dot-The-Eye's bills including wages.Preparing budgets and forecasts for Dot-The-Eye and its Customers, including P&L, cashflow and balance sheets.Produce the Month End reports.Produce the VAT returns as required for Dot-The-Eye and its Customers as required.Track outgoings and incomings for various accounts.Initiate and operate credit control for all areas.Monitor the bank accounts.Liaise with Customers regarding their bookkeeping as required including regular meetings.Liaison with accountants and other 3rd parties as necessary.Handle financial queries and bad debts as required.Prepare financial reports for the company's management meetings. Assisting the Managing Director and other members of staff as required.Assist the Management Team with tenders and bids as required.Perform core finance tasks as required to cover team absence. The key skills and qualities for this role are:
AAT Level 4 or equivalent experience. Experience with Xero is desirable.High level of written and spoken English.Proactive and self-motivated, capable of using own initiative when required.Outgoing and comfortable liaising with a range of individuals from differing backgrounds. Competent and polite phone manner.Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstancesExperience within a small company working environment beneficial.Experience with the Microsoft Office software package.Positive attitude to learning and development, with an enthusiasm to learn both on the job, and in a structured environment.Good attention to detail. Finding the right person with the right attitude who will fit into the team is very important to us.
