Joining the senior management team in a pivotal role reporting directly to the Owner/Directors of the Business, you will head a team of 5 – across 3 UK sites – with a remit including: Board level reporting – Providing financial and operational insight as well as recommendations to deliver business strategy and drive performance. Business Partnering – working in collaboration with the senior management team. Monthly Management Accounts consolidation for all business areas (5 UK divisions/sites including retail, manufacturing and distribution). Development of a more modern and sophisticated MI & KPI reporting suite to provide full visibility across the business and its operations. First point of contact for external relationships such as the bank, auditors and external accountants. Sales & Margin reporting by Product and by Customer. Budgeting & forecasting. Financial Planning and Analysis. Cash flow management/control. Overseeing Stock Management. Intercompany. Staff recruitment, management and development. Development of robust financial controls, processes and procedures to ensure optimum compliance and accuracy of financial information. Seeking opportunities for best practice and continuous improvement. Systems development Applicants should be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA Finance Directors or strong, Commercially astute Financial Controllers ready to make the step. You will be experienced in most – if not all – of the remit outlined above and will be a team player, able to demonstrate a track record of working in collaboration with senior management teams/budget holders to deliver optimum business performance. You will be a 'people–person' with the ability to build strong relationships and to adapt your style and approach with a diverse audience, some needing headline 'to the point' information and others looking for the detail. You will enjoy working in a hands–on, broad, autonomous role and will be keen to add value and make a difference and will have strong ERP/IT skills, with the ability to work with a considerable amount of EDI from various sources.
