Conduct strategic and operational reviews of our Property & Store Development program, providing hands-on support in commercial finance, financial planning, and analysis to drive sustainable sales and profit growth. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the UK Finance Director, Central Operations, Property Director, and Sourcing Director, fostering proactive teamwork with the finance department. Enhance stakeholder and team understanding of financial information through insightful reporting, interpretation, and data analysis, influencing decision-making for sustainable business performance. Develop a deep understanding of the business, leveraging key value drivers to provide insightful narratives that contribute to overall business success. Drive future strategic initiatives and business planning for the store development program, including property strategy definition, post-investment reviews, store refurbishment, cost management, lease renewals, and indirect cost optimization. Ensure accuracy in budgeting and forecasting for the store development team, contributing to the company's profitable success. What you need
Provide impactful support to senior stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment. Ensure accountability for strategic store development, driving sustainable sales and profit growth within budgetary constraints. Exhibit a proactive and positive attitude, with a resilient and dynamic approach to prioritise tasks and manage expectations. Possess a professional finance qualification (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) preferred.
