Robert Walters are excited to be partnering with a blue–chip retailer in their search for a qualified Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis.

Based in Manchester, this newly created role would suit an individual who is confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, experienced in building business cases, and an individual with a strong affinity for numbers and analysis.

The role would see you supporting the commercial business partnering activity across the group, whilst working closely with the change implementation teams to provide insight into business projects. The role would also see you translate complex data and statements into meaningful insights to help influence strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business partner with various teams across the Group to set and agree finance targets for their area and identify the key business drivers that help drive real change, covering both tactical and strategic programmes.Track and update the financial delivery of strategic business plansWork with managers to develop financial plans, ensuring robust financial controlProvide ad hoc financial analysis support for business initiatives, including the production of business casesProvide insights and understanding of performance driversTranslate complex data and problem statements into meaningful insights to help inform decision making and future actionsDevelop high–quality insights to advise leaders; tell a story with data and insight to shape business decisionsWork on cross–finance projects to deliver improvements to control, reporting, and insights Key Skills:

A recognised finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex insight to non–expert audiencesA talent for building positive relationships with senior partnersA strong analytical approach, with a drive to develop and progress.
