Responsibilities
Creating and issuing sales invoicesAllocating payments to the accounting system (Sage 200)Cash reconciliationsRegulatory reporting to the CAA and ABTARaising and processing customer refundsContacting customers by phone & e-mail to ensure payment is collected in line with booking terms as requiredCover for Accounts Payable including assisting supplier payment runs, posting supplier invoices and posting expensesImproving process efficiency and looking for opportunities to streamline / automateBuilding strong cross functional relationshipsEnsuring our customers obtain outstanding customer service in all interactions with EquityOther Finance support as required
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Highly numerate with strong attention to detailProficient IT skills (Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel)Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both verbal & writtenA team player who is comfortable to collaborate with a positive approach to problem solvingAbility to multi-task and evaluate prioritiesA proactive approach to process improvementA commitment to learn, improve and deliver as part of a team
Advantageous:
Experience of working within a Finance teamExperience within a busy customer focused environmentExperience in using Sage accounting software (preferably Sage 200) or equivalent
Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Brighton (Hybrid available, working at leas 2 days in the office)
Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience
Full Time: 36.25 hours per week
