Your new companyA local organisation with an ethical and environmental core, supping services and products into industry. Due to progression in the team, a Finance Assistant is required on a permanent basis.
Your new roleYou will report into the Finance Lead, taking ownership of everything payroll and purchase ledger for this SME organisation. Your duties will include posting of purchase ledger invoices and credits, dealing with queries and supplier statements and posting purchase ledger journals. You will also process and prepare supplier payments, staff expenses, and track all payments.
You will take on weekly payroll submissions, auto-enrolment administration, holiday processes etc. When there are audits, you will be required to support the team with process and preparations.
Please note, this role is initially 5 days on site. What you'll need to succeedAt least 12 months experience in a finance setting, preferably using Sage50 or similar. You will be autonomous, have a high attention to detail and be confident with manual processes. What you'll get in returnUp to GBP28,000 pa plus benefits.
