Key Responsibilities for the Finance Analyst role:
Assist with the budget and forecasting process of OPEX and CAPEX, working closely with Marketing, VM, PR, Store Design, Store Operations and Training teams for inputsLead monthly meetings and business partner cost centre budget holders to ensure expenditure is being recognised accuratelyValidate and post month end journals to ensure accuracy in EMEA and Global management accountsPrepare month end commentary packs for presentation of actuals vs budget/forecast for Senior ManagementCreate, identify, and communicate Risks and Opportunities to forecast, and maintain a schedule for working with and challenging teams on finding optimum levels for efficient use of resourcesActively contribute to the development of new business opportunities through the business casing processAssist in the preparation of P&L files following month end close for presentation to Senior ManagementEnforce PO policy; provide training to new starters and ensure teams are adhering to the policyMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsAd hoc analysis to support the Senior Finance Manager EMEA Profile
Key Selection Criteria for the Finance Analyst role:
Part qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA, ACA with a minimum of 3 years industry experienceExperience of retail would be desirableAdvanced excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sum If, Indirect etc) and the ability to build models from scratchExperience forecastingCommercial and analytical mindsetGood interpersonal and communication skills, having the confidence to communicate clearly with senior management and challenge commercial teamsComfortable dealing with a cross section of stakeholders, both finance and non-financeAbility to think logically and methodicallyPositive 'can-do' attitudeFlexible & proactive, with an eagerness to learnHighly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a scaling businessExperience with Netsuite desirable Job Offer
