We need an AWEsome Finance Analyst to join our Efficiencies team within Finance at AWE.
Location: Hybrid and flexible working, with our offices based in Berkshire between Reading, Basingstoke and Newbury with onsite parking and public transport services.
Salary: Starting at 26,740 this is very much open to negotiation if you can demonstrate the skills and aptitude we need.

A typical day for a Finance Analyst could look like this:
Supporting the Efficiency Manager in shaping and delivering the corporate annual objectives.Support the Efficiency process by helping in defining, reviewing, and refreshing the process, operating model, and road map in conjunction with the Efficiency Manager and key stakeholders.Support the admin and maintenance of the efficiency reporting and tracking tools and actively drive system improvements.Conduct initial discussions with teams to clarify efficiency ideas and if good to submit in keeping with the rules and principles of the programSupport the provision of efficiency tracking and reporting.Assist with the prioritisation of projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables.Working collaboratively with the business and other functions to enable the delivery of business plans and objectives.
We would like you to demonstrate or have experience of:
Developing and maintaining strong, collaborative and mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships.Strong numerical skills.Comfortable with data analysis and reporting.Desire to develop effective presentation and communication skills to senior level.

This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.
