We are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to work within a small team which provides business support and Optical Buying Group services to UK independent opticians.
The office-based job can be full time or job share (please state preference on application). This role offers a wide variety of tasks covering all aspects of accounts for our 2 businesses (SightCare Services and Optical California) and office administrative duties and support to the Financial Controller.
Whether you are an experienced or young person we are seeking a new Team member who can provide excellent customer service, multitask, be numerate with confidence using spreadsheets and a quick learner. Training & support will be given along with Finance apprenticeship training to the right candidate if desired.
Skills required include:
Good PC and telephone skills, a working knowledge of MS Office, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Experience of working with accounting software but not essential
Attention to detail, high literacy and numeracy and a willingness to learn
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Team worker
Self-motivated.

No previous knowledge of optical sector required.
