We're looking to speak to people located anywhere between M4 Corridor and Manchester.
Shifts:
A mixture, of days, nights and weekends – you must be flexible!
Due to the nature of the role, you'll be required to lodge away, so must be flexible and willing to stay away from home.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThis machinery is rail grinders, this role will be completing a series of maintenance tasks such as the following:–
Operation and monitoring the machine whilst this is completing its operation in conjunction with the infrastructure maintenance teamFixing any fault with the machine either electrical or mechanical whilst the train is in service.Testing and examining rail equipment, using relevant testing equipment.Undertake Blade changes to ensure machinery can still work effectivelyThere will be a set of specific maintenance procedures, to carry out, in line with Rail standards. The ideal candidate will be have previous maintenance experience, both electrical and mechanical with experience of fault finding on vehicles in a fast paced environment, e.g. rail, aerospace, automotive, military, HGV or marine.
