Operations Manager

Covering King's Lynn PE30 (HQ) (3 days a week), Cambridgeshire and A1 & M1 Corridor into London

GBP40,000 - GBP45,000

Serving the corporate sector for over 20 years we are a specialist interior landscape company with a reputation for superior quality and excellent customer service. We design and install everything from floral arrangements to living walls for everyone from FTSE100 companies to luxury hotels.

Now due to a recent remarkable 25% growth in our core business this year, we are in urgent need of an operations manager to support the owner in the day-to-day operations of the business.

The Operations Manager Role:

This varied and hands-on position entails supervising a small team of maintenance technicians responsible for maintaining our plants at clients' locations. Collaboration with the technicians as a cohesive team may also be required during peak periods. You will report directly to the business owner and collaborate closely with them on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Scheduling work and the labour needed for such

+ Liaising with customers and suppliers

+ Procurement of necessary materials

+ Maintaining accurate records

+ Management of a small fleet of vehicles

+ Implementation of new software systems and processes

+ Training new recruits

About you:

The ideal candidate will be a courteous, honest, reliable character who enjoys liaising with customers, working in a variety of environments and has a love of plants. A knowledge of plants is essential for this role and you must demonstrate some previous experience in horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance or floristry. A basic knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office would also be essential.
