Delivery Manager - Fibre
We are seeking a skilled, fibre focused Delivery Manager to become an active part of our operational team, supporting the fibre department within a thriving telecommunications environment.
The ideal Delivery Manager will oversee and drive the successful completion of our fibre programmes while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external project stakeholders. They should have a strong understanding of supporting and mobilising contracts from inception to delivery.
This will take place across Southampton and will coordinate a number of activities across all main functions such as operational delivery, SHEQ, Training, logistics, street works, material management, job management system integration and embedding process in the business unit.
We would expect you to hold excellent oral and written communication skills, allowing yourself to develop key relationships both internal & external.
The Delivery Manager would be responsible for:
Ensuring that all team members are skilled and accredited according to industry standards.Managing and continuously improving the performance of your team, identifying areas of development and success.Maintaining daily communication with field engineers to ensure that work aligns with client designs and expectations. Address on-site issues promptly and find effective solutions.Regular client management and engagement to discuss work progress, cost reports, potential risks, and issues, whilst addressing concerns and exceeding expectations.Overseeing functions in the team which include job receipt and how the site is tracked to completion, and track liabilities and waste to protect the monthly/annual resultsSupporting both internal and external project teams to ensure timely completion of works, meeting quality standards.Identifying and resolving potential build issues by conducting comparison analyses between client designs and PIA network.Overseeing site safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations and policiesReviewing project trackers to identify and address any fluid work.Line reports for supervision and coordination
