Fender 68 Esquire Replica Partscaster.

Very Nice Fender Esquire 68 Style Replica. This has been assembed using many genuine Fender parts but is NOT an offical Fender product.

The body is a refinished Fender Mexican Reissue telecaster body

The bridge, saddles, neck plate and F stamped tuners are all genuine Fender parts

The pick up is a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder

The wiring is good quality, CTS pots etc and is wired for the popular Eldred Esquire mod

I was told that the neck is a Fender Japan 1980s neck. I'm not sure that it is and have no way to corroborate it. It is very nice however, is vintage spec with the trussrod adjustment at the body end and has a lovely dark chocolate colour rosewood fret board.

Guitar plays well with a nice acoustic ring even when unplugged.

Currently in open G tuning which really suits it.
