Hourly rate: £11.50per hour monday-saturday and £13 per hour on sunnday. Mileage paid at 40p per mile

Summary

• I am a highly Independent, bright, and friendly lady, looking for a RELIABLE, like minded Female Personal Assistants to assist me with personal care tasks and some general household duties

• I am ambulant but struggle with day-to-day tasks.

• I enjoy cinema, theatre, good food and the natural world.

• I have a keen interest in current affairs.

Other Requirements

• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.

Description

Typical duties

Domestic:

Laundry, hanging out to dry, ironing

Loading and unloading the washing machine (occasional)

Changing bed linen

Bed making

General housework, including cleaning, dusting and vacuuming etc

Minor household maintenance e.g. changing light bulbs, taking down curtains for washing, taking out the rubbish

Assistance with food preparation

Occasional Shopping

Occasional watering of garden / plants

Occasional

Correspondence e.g. assisting with household paperwork

Any other reasonable task

Personal Care:

Supervision and/or assistance with showering, hair washing /drying as required

Help getting into and out of bath/shower as required

To be on call when employer takes bath

Assistance with applying creams

Dressing and undressing/ helping with buttons and fastenings

Help to remind me to take my medication and drink water

Any other reasonable task

Social:

Accompany employer to doctors / hospital appointments when required

Person specification

The successful applicant will be:

Female due to personal care needs

Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality

Reliable with good timekeeping

Will be able to work to follow instructions and work on own initiative

Tidy minded and well organised

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Will be Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Honest and cheerful

Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom

Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
