My story
Farrah is a one-year-old, 58-pound lab mixed with something gracefully tall and willowy…She’s a very friendly dog and good with other dogs, but like many rescued dogs, she can protect her food from other dogs. She lived with another dog, and the owner didn’t think they needed to separate dogs while eating. The other dog went after Farrah’s food and got into a scuffle. Guess who got the boot. Farrah found herself in a shelter and on the list to be euthanized. A group of dog lovers advocated for Farrah and her unfortunate situation, created by “owner error,” and we took her in. She’s in boarding and out in playgroups and ready for someone (with a brain) to give her a second chance. She is house and crate-trained and has a wonderful demeanor with everyone.
