Job Title: Family Support Worker - Children and Young People (CYP)

Location: North London

Contract Type: Temporary 3 month role (ongoing)

OurNorth London based client seeks a dedicated Family Support Worker to provide crucial services to families affected by domestic and sexual abuse. Join us in supporting mothers, children, and young people during refuge stays and resettlement in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Family Support Services:

Provide 1:1 family support addressing the impact of domestic/sexual abuse.Contribute to planning and delivering parent and CYP-specific activities.Promote parent-child relationship and resilience. Assessment and Safety Planning:

Conduct comprehensive assessments using organisational tools.Assess and promote parenting skills and children's needs.Collaborate on safety plans during and after refuge stays. Early Years/Holiday Play Schemes:

Develop and deliver age-appropriate play sessions.Contribute to fundraising for play schemes.Supervise volunteers and sessional play workers.Support CYP recovering from abuse. Integrated Working and Partnership Development:

Collaborate with internal and external services for holistic support.Connect CYP with relevant services.Establish partnerships with local entities.Maintain accurate records on the organisation's database. Qualifications and Skills:
