A Factory Manager is required by a wholesale sandwich producer in Bradford. Our Client is looking for an experienced Factory Manager. In order to succeed in this role, you must have previous experience from within the food manufacturing industry. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.

Essential Responsibilities & Experience

Overall responsibility for smooth running of factory.

Must have a track record of individual man management and managing a team as this is a key requirement. Ability and experience to manage staff from recruitment, training, staff development, etc. Able to introduce and organise shift patterns.

Learn quickly and be aware of all parts of the day to day functioning of the business.

Must have experience of working within the food industry.

A good understanding of the technical side of the food industry requirements as successful candidate will be expected to operate the technical systems and procedures of the company and maintain the SALSA status.

Will be required to liaise with suppliers and customers dealing with any quality and technical issues on a daily basis.

Have excellent organisational skills and ability to keep all records and paperwork up-to-date
