Our esteemed client, a reputable manufacturer of high-quality Aluminium Windows & Doors, is seeking a motivated and dedicated Factory Labourer (on a permanent basis) to join their dynamic team in Shildon. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader known for their commitment to quality and innovation.

4 day week working Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm, which gives you the opportunity to pick up overtime.

11.02 per hour

Overtime 14.65 - 19.28

Job Description:

As a Factory Labourer, you will:

- Assist the factory supervisor in the daily operations of the factory

- Assist Stores/Logistics with packing pallets ready for dispatch

- Working with fabricators as and when required.

- Handle various materials, tools, and machinery used in production

- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

- Assist in inventory management

Requirements:

The successful candidate will:

- Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment

- Possess strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

- Be able to follow instructions and operate machinery

- Have great attention to detail

- Have good communication skills

- Be punctual and reliable

- Hold a forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
