Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit for a Facilities Team Leader on a temporary basis.Role – Facilities Team LeaderLocation – Edinburgh – travel between various locationsHours – Monday – Friday, 36 hours per weekDuration – temporary, ongoingPay rate – GBP19.33 per hourStart immediatelyThe successful candidate will be joining an efficient and effective facilities management service and will be carrying out, but not limited to: Manage the day to day operation within the areaRetain operational responsibility for the service deliveryLead and manage SupervisorsMaximise the service delivery including client satisfaction based on a customer focus delivery approachLead the service provision through all phases to the point of delivery and beyondOrganisation, planning and delivery of the services to meet with the agreed service levelsInput into creation of work plans, workflows, staffing and schedulesEnsure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, legislation and site operating procedures in relation to soft servicesImplement and devise service delivery protocols for the site to ensure the smooth running of the sites whilst adhering to the Services RequirementsBe proactive and initiate innovative methods to increase the efficiency of the service and provide continuous improvementManage and coordinate sub–contractors whilst on site ensuring adequate supervisionAttend regular meetings as agreed by the ClientEnsure responsible and effective management of all documentation requirementsLiaise closely and professionally with the facility representatives in dealing with day to day operational matters.Ensure regular reviews of the asset register are performed and ensure the register is managed and updatedCo–ordinate Staff Rosters, timesheet sign–off, annual leave requests, manage sick leave, staff queries and manage various ad–hoc internal documentation as required.Input into monthly reporting following Services Requirements.Liaise with the other Team Leaders on a regular basis and devise synergies between areasPerform ad hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by management You should have: Excellent communication skillsA full driving licenceA proven track record in a similar roleExperience within a commercian environmentPrevious experience of staff managementThe ability to work to tight timescalesStrong team working skills If you are interested in this position, please apply online immediately.
