A well-established and successful leader in the construction and maintenance of commercial property developments are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and manage multi-site commercial properties located throughout North Lanarkshire on a full time permanent basis.
Key purpose:
You will be responsible for the full operational management and delivery of multi-site commercial properties located throughout North Lanarkshire including the safety and maintenance of the designated commercial properties ensuring that the buildings are always following all applicable regulations and best work practices.
Key responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Full operational management and delivery of multi-site commercial properties Service charge budget and year-end reconciliation management Managing operational costs to service charge in line with business plan Develop and maintain positive working relationship with tenants and direct contact with clients Working closely and developing tenant relationships understanding the needs of the occupiers and working closely with them on a daily basis to maintain positive relationships Line management and support, with responsibility for the service delivery by the site-based staff Maintenance planning incorporating all aspects of property maintenance in terms of general fabric repairs, M&E, working with the third party suppliers to ensure key maintenance undertaken Scheduling regular building maintenance, security and janitorial services
Essential requirements:
You will be an experienced Facilities Manager with a demonstrated history working within and managing a large commercial property/properties Skilled in Management, Security Operations, Risk Management and Customer Service Service charge budget and year-end reconciliation experience You will be a highly motivated people person, capable of driving high performance and maintaining an approach of continuous development towards the delivery of the services, management of performance and services standards The ability to demonstrate a natural passion and understanding of quality customer service based on exacting personal values and a wide range of experience is a must Good problem-solving skills Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills IT Literate
