Facilities Coordinator

Facilities Coordinator s Duties
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key client contacts, contractors, and suppliers. Regular monitoring of the site including stages, support offices and workshops and advise clients on best practise. Engaging suitable contractors for compliance works across both sites, including PPM s and reactive maintenance works. Management of upcoming works to building infrastructure which may impact their schedule (power/connectivity shutdowns/maintenance etc). Assist Site Representative with client tours and meetings. Carry out all building compliance works across the sites including but not limited to: emergency lighting flick tests, hot and cold-water temperature checks. Provide site supervision for visiting contractors and engineers and ensure they are fully inducted onto site. Notify contractors for reactive callouts for areas within our responsibility. Keep detailed diary/records of onsite activities and update the clients on progress. Carry out small remedial repairs to building fitments (replacing door handles, carpet tile changes, paint touch ups, replace electrical plugs, repair/replace breakages). Work closely with all building service providers that we have engaged with per the operating budget. Coordinate any out of hours work required in relation to building maintenance and providers that we have engaged. Carry out and record permissions to work procedures and any permit to works required for scheduled projects. Required Experience and Skills
Proven experience in a building facilities environment. Experience working with contractors and suppliers. Desired but not essential - Skills/training/qualifications in basic building maintenance (painting, electrical, plastering etc). Valid driver s license and insurance. Proficient in Microsoft operating systems. Proficiency with FM software would be advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer/client service skills.
