We have an opportunity for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join us. You will provide an effective, responsive and proactive facilities management, contributing to the security and well-being of residents and the maintenance of our estates and properties. Our ideal candidate must have a willingness to learn and progress.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Ensure that our properties, communal areas and external grounds are safe, secure, clean and well maintained using a hands-on approach via routine inspections and rapid response to business & site needs. This includes working on as part of a Saturday shift rota as part of your 35 week.
Undertake minor repairs, remedial work and cleans to empty homes in preparation for new tenants. Maintenance of internal and external communal areas of sits and to promptly report all other defects, hazards and repairs using the housing management system and other IT applications.
Contribute to the security and wellbeing of tenants and leaseholders by being a reassuring presence and acting as a first point of contact for assistance and support.
Build and maintain a positive and productive relationship with internal and external partners to help achieve positive outcomes.
Support the work of the Neighbourhood teams in the promotion of the scheme and services available through events, customer engagement sessions and site walkabouts.
Ensure that resident participation and involvement is actively promoted.
Adhere to company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
What we re looking for:
Demonstrable experience of and commitment to providing a good quality customer service
Practical ability to carry out property maintenance and to be alert to problems
Knowledge of relevant health & safety and procedures and COSHH regulations
Able to respond appropriately to emergencies and use own initiative
Able to carry out minor building maintenance work
Basic IT skills including Microsoft word and email
You must be willing to willing to work out of hours if required.
