Work for a Housing Organisation in London as an External Funding Lead - Permanent

As the External Funding Lead, you'll be reporting to the Retrofit Planning and Governance Manager, this role is focused on identifying suitable external grant funding opportunities. This includes Government grants, private funding, and the exploration of carbon credits.

This role will lead on the development of bids and applications, ensuring that the organisation is able to meet energy performance targets by 2030 and net zero carbon targets by 2050.

What you will be doing

Horizon scanning of external funding opportunities (Government and private).Research of opportunities such as carbon credits.Assist in the production of funding applications.Work with specialist consultant to inform bid applications.Collate necessary data and evidence to inform bid submissions.

Experience required to be considered

Experience in identifying and successfully securing external funding.Experience in bid writing.Understanding of grant funding agreements.Experience of work within the housing sector.A wider understanding of sustainability, current environmental legislation, and the requirement to support approaches to minimise carbon emissions.Knowledge of the net zero carbon agenda and understanding of relevant legislation and standards (PAS).
