Export - Import Administrator
Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP30,000
Location: Sheffield (Site Based)
Elevation Recruitment are currently working with a growing business based in Sheffield, who are looking for a Export - Import Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and have excellent administrative experience, ideally within a production or manufacturing environment.
Main responsibilities for a Export-Import Administrator:
Assisting with order processing.Prepare quotations.Raising invoices.Prepare and manage export-import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods from origin to destination.Collaborate with freight forwarders to arrange shipments.Communicate with overseas partners to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.Respond to inquiries and provide assistance to resolve any export-import-related issues.Communicating with customers both on the phone and via email.Managing delivery documentation.Liaising with different departments to resolve issues or escalate any problems. Experiences required for an Export-Import Administrator:
Experience of working in a fast-paced environmentProven experience in export-import administrationExcellent oral and written communication skills.Organisation and planning skillsAbility to multitask.Decision making skills.Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft Packages.
