Role: Events Coordinator (Charity)
Location: LS15 - parking on site
Hours: 09:00 - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (1-2 days office, 3-4 days home)
Start Date: January/February
Salary: 24,500 - 28,000 per annum DOE
Are you an organised, proactive Events Coordinator looking to work with a friendly, upbeat and professional charity business?
This brilliant charity is looking for an amazing Events Coordinator to join their Leeds team and take their events under wing. The pandemic saw a lot of their events having to be cancelled but they're so excited to bring this area of the business back again and stronger than ever! This is an amazing opportunity to make the role truly your own as you will be building relationships back up with previous events hosts and attendees as well as reaching out to new areas to see who would be interested in what the charity offices.
Based in a modern serviced office with parking on site, your day will be varied as you'll be speaking with those interested in the events, building the schedules, organising the logistics of the events and ensuring all attendees and hosts are aware of what needs to happen well ahead of time. You'll also be liaising with the internal team to ensure the events run smoothly including ensuring there's enough volunteers available and trained in time.
The nature of the role means that there may be the occasional requirement to travel for some events - transport and accommodation will be provided if needed.

Key responsibilities within your role would be:
Building relationships with event hosts, attendees and volunteer baseWorking closely with the finance team to report accurate spending from eventsWorking with Management to forecast future budget requiredEnsuring events deadlines and schedules are worked toTaking responsibility for the full organisation of the eventsRepresent the business at external events as requiredTaking on board any feedback from events to ensure future events are improved upon if neededGather any materials suitable for social media and the website
Experience and skills required:
Previous events coordination experience - ideally where you have organised an external eventHighly accurate with attention to detailAble to prioritise and manage own workloadConfident and clear phone manner
