Work for a College in central Scotland as an Events and Stakeholder Manager (Community Planning) – FTC until March 2025
The college are looking for a charismatic, well organised Events Manager, with recent and relevant knowledge of managing corporate events, and engaging with external stakeholders. The post–holder will be required to work with a wider variety of college staff and external partners, have excellent communication and team building skills, and be well versed in project management.
What you will be doing
To develop and manage the College's corporate events calendar, including the delivery of student graduation and prize giving events.To coordinate the College's approach to external and internal events management.To lead the direction, development and delivery of the College's Stakeholder Engagement Strategy including the development of appropriate political engagements. To manage the successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans to ensure the future recruitment pipeline from schools across the region.Building capacity and knowledge of each key stakeholder group to ensure effective communication and using this information to influence the Board and Senior Team on future direction and strategy. Experience required to be considered
Educated to SCQF Level 8 or equivalency in experience. A knowledge of the workings of central and local government, and third and community sectors.Excellent working knowledge of legislation and policy across the UK and Scotland and the impacts on the role of the College across the region.To understand stakeholder analysis & techniques to identify priorities and required levels of engagement.
