Estates Strategy Surveyor

Start: ASAP (12 month contract)

Pay: .14 per day

Location: WC1H9BT

Main purpose of the role:

To deliver pro-active and professional property support to in the delivery of day-to-day estate management and general practice surveying and to support the team in the delivery of strategic asset management in line with the emerging estates masterplan.

Main duties & responsibilities:

Estates Masterplanning

Property data collection and analysis

Co-ordination of utilization surveys

Organising, running of meetings / workshops Preparing presentations, reports and documents associated with Estates Strategy General practice

The delivery of day-to-day estate management tasks including carrying out property inspections, reviewing rent, insurance, business rates service charge budgets and reconciliations, providing general valuation, estates and L&T advice (or where there are more complex tasks to work closely with our retained property agent Gerald Eve to provide these services Support the senior surveyors with Bi-Annual budgeting and ongoing budget monitoring/reporting Collation, analysis and presentation of key property information, particularly illustrating and explaining change (quarterly, annual, year on year) Ideal person specification:

A degree (or equivalent) level education Experience of working in the area of estates/asset management or similar Experience in document/data management and associated systems and procedures Experience of working on an operational portfolio IMPORTANT INFORMATION
