Working for a multi-disciplinary support for the UK's Professional Adviser Community. Based in the stunning offices in Leamington Spa.
TheEstate Planning team provides support to a network of consultants based throughout the UK, and our own in-house legal services staff of more than80 people. You will also have some exposure to the development of new products and systems andprovide and develop training for in-house staff and external partners.
Duties of the Estate Planning Adviser:
Assisting with the development ofinnovative and new ways to drive efficient methods of information, guidance,and advice regarding the planning and strategies that we offer.Providing technical support to the team administering estates.Advice around the implications of buying and selling trust and estate properties.Considering the implications of transferring trust assets in and out of trusts.Chairing trustees' meetingsAll manner of trust administration, including trust tax returns, with the support of another teamAssisting with the drafting of more complex documentation such as Deeds of Variation and Cross Option AgreementsDealing with Technical Queries from both external partners and our in-house Processing, Conveyancing, Live Trust, and Admin teams requiring support and assistanceProviding full Estate Planning Advice to advisers and on occasion, clientsProviding advice on Existing WillsReport writingEnsuring that all marketing materials are up-to-date and current.Assisting with the internal training of staffWorking alongside the software team to ensure the accuracy of data input and consistency of document output. Experience required for the Estate Planning Adviser role:
Experience in dealing withprivate clientwork/Or with a professionalexperience within a solicitors, financial services, Probate, Accounting or Para Planning.Good IT skills particularly with ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
