An environmental noise or acoustics consultant is needed to work in Scotland for a leading UK multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in renewable energy and sustainable development.

You will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in environmental noise or acoustics consultancy, hold a degree in acoustics or a relevant discipline, and also be a member of the Institute of Acoustics.

Duties will include-

Undertaking noise propagation modeling.

Carrying out on-site noise level measurements.

Analysis of measurement data.

Preparing and writing technical reports.

My client is seeking an acoustic s consultant with an enthusiastic and tenacious approach to working on a wide range of projects. You will need to have a good understanding of current acoustic and noise standards and guidelines, be competent in report writing for planning applications, and have knowledge of bespoke acoustics computer packages.
