Hello. I am a fully qualified English teacher with over twenty years of teaching experience in schools across the land, including Cambridge, Norwich, London, Birmingham and Madrid! I've taught in highly academic schools, as well as specials schools for learners with autism, and I've managed special needs units. I've taught across ages ranging from Key Stage 3 to 4, up to and including GCSE for all exam boards.

I offer a free, initial, no obligation chat, which can be a phone call or online, where we will talk about individual needs and requirements of having English lessons. We may discuss things such as boosting grades, revision skills, exploring and understanding texts, exam techniques and what examiners are looking for, building vocabulary and developing writing skills.

Lessons can be in person or online; they are planned and targeted towards the specific needs and aims of the individual. Delivery of lessons is organised and accessible, followed by clear, detailed feedback and analysis of written and spoken work.

Cost of lessons is varied and flexible: £25 for 30 minutes, £35 for 40 minutes, £45 for 50 minutes etc... I find shorter, regular sessions can be very effective for learners with shorter concentration spans. Plus I can be available for extended contact during the week for questions and any learning related issues that may come up. A special rate is available for those able to make monthly or half termly payments.
