We are in search of an English and Maths teacher to join our Education Centre Based in Spalding.

What will I be doing as an English and Maths teacher?
The purpose of the role is to oversee day to day delivery of the Maths and English qualifications from Entry Level 1 through to Functional Skills (Level 2). The post holder will engage and develop students' Maths and English functional skills as well as support the personal and social development of our learners.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Design, plan and deliver the English and/or Maths curriculum in line with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF), awarding body standards and Nacro curriculum guidance and quality standards.Implement the Nacro English/Maths strategy aims to ensure the needs of Nacro Learners are met.Carry out initial assessment of the potential or actual student, including any risks, or his / her needs and requirements in respect of the service on offer.Actively engage with students in decisions that affect them, through involvement activities ranging from providing information, requesting feedback, consulting, to facilitating participation by the student.
Requirements for this role:
L2 English & Maths is essential.A Teaching qualification, CET/PTTLS OR DET equivalent or above is preferred. However, support will be given to those willing to work towards a teaching qualification.An Enhanced with Barred Lists DBS check is essential.
