Description
You will be part of a collaborative management team, working cross functionally in a varied role with equipment efficiency at the centre of this role. As the Engineering Improvement Manager, you will be ensuring production processes & equipment performance are as efficient as possible. Interacting with leadership across other departments to deliver business improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve departmental performance by implementing best practice standards, utilising Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement tools & techniques.Support tender, factory acceptance testing, commissioning & validation.Seek out & understand new technology and developments, ensuring potential improvements, optimisation & continuous improvement.Ensure equipment complies with all applicable laws and standards including safety, quality, sustainability and environment.Support site in achieving KPIs, coaching the teams in understanding the OEE & how to get the most out of the process & equipment.Lead projects to drive performance improvement when needed.Work cross functionally on innovation, capital & R&D projects. This role is business critical role, suited to an Engineering professional with experience driving CI/Operational Excellence improvement with experience in an FMCG or packaging manufacturing operations & the following:
