Description

This is a remote position. Do you have experience working with Commercial EPC, TM44 or DEC? Joining their dynamic Energy Services team as an Energy Consultant your primary focus will be the delivery of all their consultancy products and services to a wide range of clients including Site Energy Audits and Surveys for Energy Saving, Decarbonisation and ESOS Compliance. You will deliver work predominantly in your geographical area, but this could extend throughout the UK. Although this is a home-based role you will be supported by the whole Energy Services Team and work in a collaborative way on projects, utilising best in class remote working tools to be as productive as possible. You will be provided with a home office IT setup including a laptop, multiple screens, iPhone and printer if required. Provide a full range of specialist advice on all energy related management to include Energy Policy and Strategy development, auditing, reporting, monitoring and targeting and preparation of performance indicators. In addition, practical advice to ensure customers meet statutory government standards Development and creation of our consultancy domain methodologies and knowledge base. To carry out energy surveys at customer premises around the UK to identify areas and operations that require attention for energy and water savings at a level to suit the client To lead complex and/or high-value projects involving multiple contributors Project manage the full implementation of cost saving measures, to include arranging funding through grants and rebate schemes Through customer liaison, identify up-sell opportunities for current and new services and pass leads through to the Sales Team Assist in the preparation and submission of tender responses and quotations for new business To promote energy management awareness and consultancy services at company events and exhibitions, as well as internally to employees Prepare, collate and calculate data for producing Greenhouse Gas emissions reports, carbon footprint reports or other sustainability reports as required by the customer. Obtain competitive quotations for any proposed cost saving measures identified and evaluate the potential savings Preparation of Display Energy Certificates and Recommendation Reports for buildings Preparation of Energy Performance Certificates and Recommendation Reports for buildings Preparation of Air-Conditioning Inspection Reports for buildings Requirements Experience: 1 year + Energy Management or Consultancy Experience Understanding of strategy for energy policy within a large organisation Experience of working within commercial property An understanding of building energy audits, with an ability to advise on energy reduction measures and renewable energy technologies Education : Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Building Services), Science based subject (e.g Carbon Management) or equivalent experience Accreditation: Member of professional body (e.g. Energy Institute, CIBSE) ESOS Lead Assessor Accredited Energy Assessor Display Energy Certificates - DipDEC Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates Level 5 Air Conditioning Inspections Level 3 (Simple Packaged) Desirable knowledge: Exposure to and experience in using energy management software (monitoring, targeting and bill validation) Energy Performance of Building Regulations Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) UK Utility Markets GHG Protocol & reporting Benefits 40,000 - 50,000 Basic Salary Employee ownership profit share bonus scheme (annual) Departmental Performance bonus (monthly) Sales Opportunity identification incentive scheme Car Allowance of 6,600pa 22 days holidays rising to 25 days plus bank holidays Health cash plan including family cover Employee Wellbeing Programme Life Assurance Stakeholder Pension Perks at Work Shopping Discounts Home office IT equipment provided This role is home based Flexible holidays Cycle Salary Sacrifice Scheme Company funded social events and team building Relaxed office dress code
