Your role:
Assessment and analysis of trainee performance with a focus on repair qualityCarry out pre–interview technical skills aptitude tests for potential candidates and existing personnel progression/developmentUndertake routine Post Repair Audits of flexible endoscopesDevelopment of repair method sheets and production of technical bulletinsProvide technical support to the Endoscopy workshop as requiredAnalysis, testing, fault finding and component level repair of PCBs and associated mechanical sub–assembliesAnalysis, testing, fault finding and determination of micro CMOS sensorsVerification & validation of components and assemblies for current and new devicesDevelopment of test apparatus, jigs & toolsInitiation and completion of risk assessment tablesAssist with the upkeep of calibration & maintenance recordsSupplier engagement and liaisonGenerate purchase orders and monitor through to deliveryMaintain documentation in line with business requirements The person:
Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Engineering or a related industryMinimum of 5 years major repair capability across a variety of scope generations2 – 5 Years in an engineering/electronics environment with experience on medical equipmentComprehensive understanding of ISO:13485 ISO:14971Analysis & problem solving skills (8D – DMAIC process)CAD drawing – Autodesk Inventor – AutoCAD – SolidworksA DBS Enhanced Disclosure is required for all applicants Benefits:
