We are looking for an Employment Advisor (15 Month FTC) to join the Employment and Skill Lancashire team, in this exciting new opportunity. As an Employment Advisor (15 Month FTC) you will be supporting people who are out of work, inactive in the job market and not searching for employment opportunities. You will be addressing barriers they currently have, preventing them from accessing or securing paid employment. Whether that be training and development, or personal barriers linked to their current circumstances.

Outline of Key responsibilities for the Employment Advisor (15 Month FTC)
To assist in the delivery of new and existing projects that progress the organisational objectives in relation to employment.Work to and achieve set targets, i.e. numbers on non–regulated activity and job outcomes.To determine and implement effective approaches which will help our clients develop confidence, overcome barriers and achieve successful transitions.Engage with local business and employers to understand business needs and promote our client base and services. To actively recruit clients into the employability projects, retain their engagement and encourage them to participate in workshops, job clubs and 1:1's to raise aspirations, challenge them emotionally enabling them to reach their full potential.Identify and harness local, regional and national initiatives that deliver new opportunities access employment/training opportunities.
