OVERVIEW: EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR

We are looking for an Employability Tutor with experience of delivering vocational qualifications, supporting learners through their learning Journey to successfully achieve qualifications within Adult Skills.

Based at a training centre in Blackpool, the role of a Tutor will be supporting learners undertaking employability, vocational and functional skills qualifications, including Maths and English to fully achieve timely and successfully to a high standard. You will also be required to visit learners in their workplace in the surrounding area.

The role involves accredited delivery and assessment activities for several sectors, such as mental health awareness, understanding SEND, Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health, IAG, behaviours that challenge, safeguarding, digital skills, customer service and autism. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR

Blackpool based delivery to learners in a classroom environment Working to quality standards and completion of targetsAssisting with the enrolment of learners and gaining referralsOrganising and maintaining documentation of learner's progress to a high standard

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR

Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS, AET etc)Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 qualifications (or willing to work towards)Assessor qualification (or willing to work towards)Track record of delivering funded employability programs (including accredited and non- accredited qualifications)Experience working with unemployed people on programs that facilitate positive outcomesHistory of working with people with complex barriers to progressionPassion for people developmentFull UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
