Job title: Electronic Product Designer

Location: Hoddesdon

Salary: 40,000- 50,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday 37 hours per week

We are looking to hire a talented Electronic Product Designer in Hoddesdon.

Electronic Product Designer Details:

Developing and testing prototypes. Working closely with the manufacturing team and subcontractors to ensure that design specifications are met. Producing circuit and component lists.

Electronic Product Designer Requirements:

Ability to demonstrate and execute electronic skills in the design of scientific instruments. Experience in analogue and digital electronic design. Ability to hand craft and test electronic prototypes. Experience working with small equipment. A good educational attainment in physics. The candidate would be expected to learn about the physics of infra-red gas measurement. Creative in solving technical problems. Planning and executing electronic designs using CAD, and working with 3D data to avoid component clashes Software and mechanical design experience would be an advantage. An understanding and experience of low pressure gas systems, flowmeters and pumps would be an advantage.
