Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Calibration Operator to work a 12 month deal from their major site in Bolton.

As the selected Electrical Calibration Operator, you will play a crucial role in the Manufacturing function with the following responsibilities:

Working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team to support the Operations team.Performing initial calibration, routine calibration, and maintenance of Special To Type Test Equipment (STTE) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment.Ensuring that factory and proprietary test and measuring equipment is maintained in accordance with current procedures.Conducting calibration and repair tasks following departmental processes and procedures.Generating clear and comprehensive calibration/maintenance records for traceability purposes.Skillset/Experience Required: To excel in this role, the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Generating clear and comprehensive calibration and maintenance records.Experience in calibrating COTS/Special to Type Test Equipment.Proficiency in calibrating electrical equipment such as Power Supplies, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, etc.Experience in In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.Competence in following manufacturer's instructions.Desirable: A good understanding of SAP.Time served apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3.City & Guilds part 2 & 3/ONC/HNC in Electronics.Desirable: Experience working on Environmental Stress Screening Facilities (ESS).
