Electrical Technician

We are working with one of the world's largest Pharmaceutical companies and they are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their team in Hatfield.

Salary range: Up to GBP39,683 – Shift Allowance GBP5220 PA).

Holiday: 24 days, increased with service.

Annual discretionary Bonus: based on individual and co. performance – up to a maximum of 10%. Pension: Up to 5% Employee, 10% Employer (starts at 3% Employee, 6% Employer on day 1).

Dental Insurance: Denplan – employee only (family members through discounted monthly payroll deduction if required).

Life Assurance: 4 x Basic salary.

Details of responsibilities:

Maintenance, fault finding and repair of all electrical and automation equipment associated with Production Manufacturing, Packaging and Utilities, such that production priorities are met and the equipment performs to its optimum capability and maintains GMP compliance.Application of Good Manufacturing and Engineering Practices in all areas of responsibilityComply with electrical procedures, job plans and standards.Supervision of external contractors and equipment VendorsModification of plant, manufacturing equipment and services.Assessment of critical spare requirements, ordering parts, planning shutdowns and workloads.Equipment failure reports.Co–ordination and participation in the development of risk assessment and method statements associated with specified work.Multi–disciplined, flexible attitude to teamwork.Provide support to the production, technical and quality teams where required.Use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System.Support commissioning activities to confirm that equipment will operate in accordance with design intent and to ensure installation and qualification tasks are executed. Working relationships:

Production Operations.

Production Engineering, Utilities Engineering and Facilities Management Engineering.

Quality Operations, Quality Control and Quality Systems.

Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS).

Technical.

External equipment manufacturers, service providers and contractors to support Engineering activities. Skills/ Qualifications:

Completed a relevant Engineering Apprenticeship and/or experience/qualifications within the Electrical/Automation Engineering discipline. Competencies:

Growth mindset and a willingness to learn and develop.

Good attention to detail.

Effective communication.

Proficient in Microsoft 365 products or similar.
