The Client:

We are recruiting Electrical Production Technicians to joining our client working within a plasma technology company.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Production team and work on the assembly build of high–tech, cutting–edge products. You will develop new capabilities and work on some of our most complex system configurations. For this role you will need a strong engineering background and a high level of technical skills and knowledge.

You will be employed to work on a rotating shift pattern. Each working week consists of 4 shifts of 8 hours and one of 5 hours. Currently the shifts are Early (starting at 06:00hrs) and Afternoon (starting at 14:00hrs).

A shift allowance will be paid on top of the basic salary.

The Electrical Production Technician role responsibilities will include.

Build systems, sub–assemblies and piece parts for complex systems efficiently to the right quality levels and ISO standards, and to achieve build schedules.Ensuring that the requirements of the BOM and the customer specification are achieved.Identifying and resolving build problems. What's needed for me to be considered for the Electrical Production Technician role?

Time served Electrical apprenticeship or City and Guilds part 3, or HND, HNC, or BTech level 3

Detail wiring skills to precision level, including:– – Lead free soldering

– Panel wiring to schematics

Ability to read electrical drawingsAbility to fault find and implement corrective action Ideally – combination of mechanical, electrical and electronic assembly skillsIdeally – experience of working in the semiconductor industryPC skills Full job description available on request
