Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an Electrical Inspector to join our client on an initial 6 - 12 month deal working from their major site in Bolton.

Responsibilities: As the Quality Assurance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Managing all elements necessary to achieve and maintain the quality of deliverable hardware.Certifying products in line with processes and procedures.Examining correct assembly, including verifying all forms of electrical connections.Examining the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces, etc.Inspecting for physical damage and conducting intermediate inspection checks for non-Product Certification activities.Monitoring operators within the Product Certification Scheme.Checking, completing, and certifying all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.Controlling non-conforming items and raising and maintaining relevant data records/non-conformance reports.Producing relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheets.Caring for and using specialized inspection tools.Maintaining product certification and approval via regular audits.Ensuring compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.Meeting inspection times and possessing a versatile skill base to apply skills across a range of tasks.Maintaining the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality.Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to a good housekeeping policy.Contributing to an environment of process improvement.Skillset/Experience Required: The successful candidate should have:

A formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC.Several years of experience as a skilled person.IPC 610 & IPC 620 certified/trained (preferred).Manual handling training.ESD Training.
