Electrical Fitter - 25.30 per hour Inside IR35 - 12 Months (extensions highly likely) - Greater Manchester - Onsite working - One stage interview - Sector: Defence and Aerospace

Yolk Recruitment is searching for an Electrical Fitter to work with a leading defence client pushing the boundaries of technologies in the sector.

You will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing and test tasks within the electrical department.

Responsibilities

Certify the product in line with Product Certification procedure.Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.Ensure manufacturing build, inspection and testing.Contribute to an environment of process improvement

Essentials

Experience in electrical wiring and assembly.Electrical fitting experienceManual handling training.Lifting and slinging (including overhead cranes) trainingESD training.Electrical apprenticeship :- NVQ3 - BTEC ONC/HNC or equivalent

Desirable

IPC 610 certified/ trainedExperience in the aerospace or defence industry

This role will include accommodation expenses if travelling from more than 30 miles away.
