We are currently in search of an Electrical Designer (CE&I) for our marine client, located in Fife. This is a contract position with an hourly rate of approximately GBP30 negotiable by experience, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical EC&I Designer, your responsibilities will include:

Creating CAD models and drawings for full–cycle product design, from construction to installation Applying 2D and 3D CAD skills within the electrical discipline Generating 2D electrical installation and fabrication drawings from 3D models, including cable containment installation drawings Interpreting electrical single–line diagrams, block diagrams, schematics, and cable schedules Familiarity with marine and ship repair practices Assisting in ship surveys to validate existing system drawings Knowledge, Experience, and Skills required for the Electrical designer contract role:–

Hold an NC/HNC or an equivalent qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Completion of an apprenticeship in the relevant discipline or relevant industry experience. Proficiency in using one or more parametric/spec–driven CAD systems in both 3D and 2D environments, with a preference for AutoCAD. Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience in Design for Manufacture within a marine build and/or refit marketplace (or a similar field).
