Our client is leading manufacturing company who specialise in the design and manufacture of electrical control systems and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Controls Engineer / Operations Manager.

The Role:

This is a senior management appointment and the successful applicant will work closely with the directors. You will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the business with a view to driving improvements.

In a hands-on management role your main responsibilities will include;

General management and control of all personnel and processesIdentify and drive improvements to efficiency and profitabilityDevelop and maintain excellent client relationshipsProject managementBudget preparation, management and controlHR ManagementCo-ordinate design, engineering, production and support teams to ensure orders are delivered to specification and on-time Candidate:

You will be an experienced electrical controls engineer or you'll be an experienced operations manager with a controls manufacturing background.

Applicants will have at least 5 years management experience and ideally you will demonstrate a track record for delivering business improvement success.

You will have a excellent knowledge and understanding of electrical controls for automated systems and machinery.
