Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) has an exciting opportunity available for an Education Resource Supervisor to join our team in Faversham. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP35,026 - GBP39,508 per annum.

Being an Education Resource Supervisor:

The Education Resource Team is responsible for the identification, development and design of new and existing education materials, tools and programmes. Resources designed will be used by colleagues to educate a range of individuals and groups (including schools, colleges, special education needs and alternative provisions) or form part of Kent Fire and Rescue Service s digital education programme.

The Education Resource Team will work with internal and external stakeholders/customers to help shape and evaluate these materials and ensure that they are effective, engaging and innovative.

What you'll do

Cultivate strong relationships with external designated groups and networks e.g. teachers/students to understand the needs of the intended target audience Design and develop educational materials, including digital content, physical resources, videos and interactive materials in line with defined objectives Work with internal stakeholders to help shape the design of materials Review, adapt and customise existing resources to meet the requirements of target groups taking into account learning needs and preferences Apply knowledge of the National Curriculum (Early Years to Key Stage 5) and other relevant strategies e.g NFCC Children and Young People and initiatives to shape and inform the creation of education materials Gather, analyse and review data and intelligence regularly to inform direction and the development of programmes and materials Ensure that the work of the Education Resource Team meets defined objectives What you'll bring

An education background with strong experience of working with the National Curriculum and other relevant frameworks Proven experience of working with digital platforms with a particular focus on education Experience of designing and developing education programmes, materials and resources with detail on how they worked to achieve the desired outcome You ll be highly self-motivated, proactive, creative and positive Strong people leadership skills in order to effectively support and develop colleagues within yours and the wider education teams The ability to plan and prioritise your workload to meet the demands and objectives of the organisation. Seeing tasks through to completion in a timely manner You will continuously maintain up to date knowledge on education practices, technologies, trends and programmes/policies relating to areas of your work and professional competence Closing date: Friday 12th January 2024
