Our client, a well established and fast-growing company responsible for the editorial project management of prestigious ELT and educational publishing materials, is looking for a driven and highly organised, client focused, Editorial Project Manager to join their ELT team on a permanent contract. This is a fully remote role where you can be based anywhere in the UK or Europe.
As ELT Editorial Project Manager, you will work on the company's expanding portfolio of ELT publishing projects, both print and digital. Key aspects of the role include:
Plan and manage all aspects of largescale, multi-component publishing print projects (often with digital dependencies). Create and implement strategies for project success. Contribute as a member of a collaborative team, offering and requesting support as needed. Support Editorial Managers in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Add value for clients by identifying potential risks early and proactively providing solutions.Communicate clearly, providing regular project updates, maintaining clear records, reporting accurate project information, and escalating issues when required. Arrange cover for absences to keep projects moving. Deputise for Editorial Managers when needed and support them on account RFPs.
The ideal Editorial Project Manager will have good ELT market knowledge combined with strong ELT publishing experience and top-notch project management skills, from working across print and digital products, as well as excellent organisation, communication and editorial skills. The Editorial Project Manager will be able to juggle priorities and work well remotely, and collaboratively amongst a friendly, supportive team. You will be adept at building and managing strong working relationships internally and externally, with publishing clients, and thrive on achieving project success.
