We are actively seeking a EC&I Technician who will carry out automation fault finding, breakdown, and Preventative Maintenance repairs on equipment to ensure equipment downtime is minimized. The role is a plant–based position working within the production areas and is responsible for maintenance–led activities within the manufacturing site – part of a Top Tier COMAH facility.

Your responsibilities: Providing both a reactive and proactive, multi–skilled service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Improve of OEE through the application of TPM and other Lean tools increasing the mean time between failures (MTBF) while reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR). To analyse equipment reliability. To generate ideas for solving chronical issues related with equipment on lines, coating lines and ink manufacture for HT. To initiate solutions, new projects and projects for improvements. To carry out investigations in safety and breakdown events via 4CP, RCA techniques. Participate in Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Programs to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Ensure all PLC systems are in good working order.
