Core purpose
• To establish a structured free flow learning environment within the four principles of the Early Years Framework.
• Support a climate of positive wellbeing within Early Years Foundation Stage for staff and children.
• Understanding and experience of the EYFS curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and implement differentiated learning activities so that children and young people enjoy learning, achieve their full potential and experience a sense of wellbeing.
• Create a positive learning environment as set out in the school’s ‘Positive Behaviour for Learning Manifesto’.
• Lead a class team to provide outstanding teaching and learning for all children and young people.
• Assess, record and reporting progress for children and young people within the class.
• Prepare for and contributing to annual Person-Centered Reviews.
• Work in partnership with parents, colleagues and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
• Contribute to the wider school community and pastoral, personal development and enrichment opportunities for children and young people with a variety of SEN.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to a consistent, holistic approach to the care and education of each child and young person.
